The Arena is a multi-purpose facility, equipped to accommodate major concerts, trade and consumer shows, family shows and circuses, as well as a full range of indoor sporting events, including basketball, ice hockey, football and rodeos. The Arena floor measures 110’ x 212’ and has a 400 pound per square foot load capacity.
The VBC has an in-house Exhibitor Services Department for all exhibitor needs and an in-house Catering Department for food and beverage functions.

COMMERCIAL RENTAL: $3,500 or 12% of gross ticket receipts after taxes, whichever is greater. $7,500 flat rate for events generating revenue beyond the control of the VBC. $5,000 flat rate for events with no traditional revenue generated.
NON-COMMERCIAL RENTAL: $3,000 or 10% of gross ticket receipts after taxes, whichever is greater. $5,000 flat rate for events generating revenue beyond the control of the VBC. $3,500 flat rate for events with no traditional revenue generated.
NON-COMMERCIAL RENTAL: Applies to qualified religious, charitable or educational organizations where no admission is charged, no fee is taken, no collection is made or no revenue is derived. Local non-profit organizations that charge admission, take fees, collections or derive revenue may qualify for the non-commercial rental.
Rental Rates: includes lighting, heating and/or air conditioning and water as installed. All labor, supplies and equipment are considered additional expenses and will be charged at rates as outlined in the EQUIPMENT, STAFFING AND SERVICES SHEETS.
Move-in/Move-out and rehearsal dates are calculated at sixty percent (60%) of the normal daily rental rates.
Insurance required for events in the Arena cannot be obtained by the VBC and it is therefore the sole responsibility of the Lessee to procure sufficient insurance.
When the Von Braun Center Box Office does not control all ticket sales for the Lessee in order that accurate rent can be calculated or when there is no admission charge, a flat rate will apply. Flat rate rental schedules are available through the Executive Director's office.

One-hour to one-hour-thirty minutes prior to performance

Eight rooms within 50'-100' from stage; ranging from 120 sq. ft. to 360 sq. ft.

Portable Staging: Stage Right sections 4' x 8'; Minimum height: 52", Maximum height: 78"; House has barricade, Nomad
Load-in Information:
No dock, ground level; 18' wide x 18' high load-in door; one truck at a time for loading or unloading, can be backed to stage; sufficient truck and bus parking lot as needed.
Rigging:
• Ceiling is open steel truss, asymmetrical spoke configuration
• Height from floor to bottom of ceiling beam is 61'9"
• 20' diameter speaker cluster above floor geometrical center of Arena, height from floor to bottom of cluster is 46'9"
Power:
1000 amp 3 phase service (600 amp disconnect, two 200 amp disconnects, two 60 amp disconnects for shore lines), location 30' from end stage upstage right. On separate transformer, 600 amp service (400 amp disconnect, one 200 amp disconnect), location 30' from end stage left.
Operations and Production Equipment:
• Eight super troupers carbon arcs, with 100' to 180' throw
• Two Caterpillar forklifts, weight capacities 3,000 lbs. and 5,000 lbs.; height limits 16' and 20' one set of extensions
