The Alabama Chapter of GMIS typically holds two conferences each year. This is a great opportunity to get to know information technology professionals from around the state. Each conference is a unique event consisting of a wide-range of vendors and speakers with a plethora of experience and resources in the technology world.
One of the highlights of each conference is the round table discussion where members have the opportunity to share ideas and projects with one another. Meeting fellow IT leaders from around the state and networking with vendors is encouraged as each conference is full of good information and great company!

The goals of this event are to learn about new and innovative products and services, as well as build customer/vendor relationships that will benefit our members and their respective organizations for years to come. The individuals participating will be ALGMIS members from State & Local Government organizations; including municipalities, county commissions, public utilities, educational institutions, and more. We are all Information Technology (IT) professionals, leaders, and managers seeking ways to make our teams more effective and efficient. We are always excited to hear what is new in the field of technology, and more than that, we are continuously seeking new partnerships with vendors from all aspects of the industry.
