Events the Concert Hall Is Suited For

The luxurious Mark C. Smith Concert Hall is a premier Huntsville, Alabama, venue that hosts everything from Broadway and ballet to symphonies and concerts. It seats 1,955. The theatre is also used as a meeting area for conferences and seminars.

Space and Back Stage Specs

The Mark C. Smith Concert Hall has newly renovated and expanded backstage areas with dressing room accommodations for 60 performers and five loading docks accessible at stage level through a 12’ x 18’ service door. The stage has a 54’ x 48’ performing area, a hydraulic orchestra pit, a 54-line counterweight system, a full orchestra acoustical shell, and complete sound and lighting systems. Included with the Concert Hall is a Green Room conveniently located near the stage and service doors.

What’s Included in Rental Rates

Rental rates include basic lighting, heating and/or air conditioning, and water, as installed. With the exception of basic lighting equipment, all labor, supplies, and equipment are considered additional expenses.
