Doors
Please arrive as close to the door opening time as possible. If an attendee cannot make it to the venue at least 30 minutes prior to the show, they should expect a possible delay. The VBC has increased typical staffing levels for events to get each and every person into the building in a timely manner, but cannot make guarantees.
Mars Music Hall:
1 hour prior to showtime (sold-out shows will open 1 1/2 hours prior)
Mark C. Smith Concert Hall:
1 hour prior to showtime (sold-out shows will open 1 1/2 hours prior)
Propst Arena:
1 1/2 hours prior to showtime (sold-out shows will open 2 hours prior)
The time doors open prior to an event are subject to change.
Will Call
Tickets will be available to pick up at the VBC Box Office 2 hours prior to showtime. Please bring proper ID, the credit card used to purchase the tickets, and your confirmation number, if ordered through Ticketmaster.
Note: Tickets for Mars Music Hall shows will only be available at the Mars Music Hall Box Office 2 hours prior to showtime; otherwise, they will be at the VBC Box Office.
Event Cancellations
All shows at the VBC are “rain or shine” events. VBC officials work directly with the National Weather Service and Huntsville Emergency Management to monitor and adapt to ever-changing conditions. Event organizers/promoters may make exceptions for refunds due to weather conditions. For questions about an event cancellation or refunds due to weather, please call (256) 533-1953.
If an event is canceled for reasons other than weather, please return to the point of purchase for a refund. If an event is postponed, tickets for the original event date will be honored. If you are unable to attend the event on the new date, please return to the point of purchase for a refund.
Food & Beverage
Guests may not bring outside food or beverages into VBC events. Feel free to visit any of our concession stands or enjoy our restaurant, Rhythm on Monroe, before or after your show.
Parking
Located in the heart of Downtown Huntsville, the VBC offers convenient access to multiple parking lots and a garage, in addition to nearby City parking options. On-site and adjacent parking areas provide easy entry and exit, while ADA-accessible spaces in every parking area ensure every guest can arrive and enjoy their event comfortably. VBC Guest Information FAQs
Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Additional Hours: 2 hours prior to start time of a Ticketmaster event
Tickets for Ticketmaster events may be purchased in-person at the VBC Box Office or online at ticketmaster.com.
Note: For Mars Music Hall events, your tickets will be at the VBC Box Office, but will be moved to the Mars Music Hall Box Office 2 hours before showtime.
Age requirements are typically listed with the ticket information on the VBC website or Ticketmaster website. However, most events do not require a ticket for children under the age of 2. If you would like the child to have his/her own seat, you must purchase a ticket for that child. Some children/family shows require that all children over the age of 1 have a ticket.
