With over 170,000 square feet of flexible event space, the VBC is a full-service venue supported by an experienced team and in-house services including catering, exhibitor services, and audio/visual – making event planning seamless from start to finish.

PLANNING & POLICIES snapshot

• Dedicated Support: Once contracted, an Event Manager will guide you through all aspects of your event, including layout, catering, and technical needs.
• Insurance: A Certificate of Liability Insurance ($1,000,000) is required at least two weeks prior to your event. Coverage may be arranged through the VBC for most events.
• Security: A minimum of one security officer is required. Additional staffing may be necessary based on event type and will be determined by your Event Manager.
• Audio/Visual: A technician is required when using VBC AV equipment. Estimates are available based on your event needs.
• Rental Inclusions: Standard rental rates include utilities such as lighting, heating/cooling, and water. Labor, equipment, and additional services are priced separately.
• Room Capacities: Capacities vary based on setup style (theater, banquet, classroom, etc.) and may be adjusted based on staging or special requirements.
• Move-In/Out & Rehearsals: Priced at 60% of standard rental rates.
• Pricing: All rates are subject to change.

The South Hall has over 100,000 square feet of space, 35’ ceilings, and a 350 pound per square foot load capacity, making it the perfect location for large trade and consumer shows, conventions, and banquets. It’s flexibility is why it’s one of our most popular event space rentals in Huntsville.

The South Hall Ballrooms, overlooking Big Spring Park, are carpeted and dividable with airwalls. It’s an elegant setting for any banquet or social function.

The East Hall is a 24,900 square foot banquet, meeting, and exhibit hall which can be divided into 3 separate areas and multiple configurations, complete with carpet, wall coverings, and acoustical ceiling panels. The East Hall is suitable for banquet, reception, convention, or trade and consumer show venue rentals in Huntsville. Located in the center of the Von Braun Center, the East Hall is close to all parking areas and other meeting rooms within the facility.

The Saturn Ballroom is a 23,000 square-foot banquet and convention facility at the Von Braun Center and sets the stage for memorable gatherings as one of the premier event spaces in Huntsville. Designed for elegance and versatility, this venue can transform effortlessly for galas, fundraisers, wedding receptions, and corporate banquets of every size.

Overlooking the Saturn Ballroom’s main floor, accessible from a perimeter balcony, are meeting rooms, ranging in size from 500 square feet to 2,800 square feet. Spanning the entire length of the 3 halls is the Saturn Ballroom Gallery. The gallery measures 227′ x 18′ and is an excellent reception, pre-function or registration area.

The industrial-inspired Mars Music Hall is a premier Huntsville event venue with a 1,296-person standing capacity (736 seated). The intimate character of the venue’s broad, not-a-bad-seat-in-the-house design offers great acoustics for a variety of events, ranging from concerts to comedy acts and everything in between. The hall has a sound and lighting system, as well as a wrapping balcony, which overlooks the 50-foot wide stage.
