The Von Braun Center is a multipurpose facility with the primary objective of facilitating and promoting events and activities while generating economic benefit and improving the quality of life for the Huntsville community and its surrounding areas.

About the Von Braun Center

The Von Braun Center is named after Dr. Wernher von Braun, a pioneer of rocket science whose work helped shape Huntsville’s legacy as the Rocket City.

Today, the VBC is governed by a seven-member Board of Control appointed by the Mayor of Huntsville and the Huntsville City Council, providing oversight and strategic direction for the organization.

Located in the heart of downtown Huntsville, the VBC serves as a central gathering place for the community -hosting cultural, educational, entertainment, sporting, and social events of all kinds. With a versatile campus and a team of experienced professionals, the VBC is committed to delivering exceptional experiences for every guest, client, and event.
