Is the South Hall ADA accessible?

Yes. The South Hall meets all ADA standards, with accessible entrances, restrooms, and seating options.

Can I bring my own vendors or caterers?

All catering must be handled through the VBC’s in-house culinary team, but outside vendors for décor, production, or event-related rentals are allowed with prior approval. All of these items can be coordinated through our in-house Event Managers.

Is A/V equipment included with my rental?

We can customize our A/V services for your event. Our production team provides professional lighting, sound, and presentation technology as part of your package.

Events the South Hall Is Suited For

The South Hall has over 100,000 square feet of space, 35’ ceilings, and a 350 pound per square foot load capacity, making it the perfect location for large trade and consumer shows, conventions, and banquets. It’s flexibility is why it’s one of our most popular event space rentals in Huntsville.

The South Hall Ballrooms, overlooking Big Spring Park, are carpeted and dividable with airwalls. It’s an elegant setting for any banquet or social function.

What’s Included in Rental Rates

Event space rental rates include lighting, heating and/or air conditioning, and water, as installed. All labor, supplies and equipment are considered additional expenses.

Move-in/move-out and rehearsal dates are calculated at 60% of the normal daily rental rates.

Insurance can be obtained by the VBC at the applicable rate.
